From Your Director- August 2025

Jeremiah 29:11-12"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you."  

 I need to testify to then goodness of God!  Last month we had an enormous emergency in our Food Pantry, with our staff put on a pause without pay.  We had no volunteers in place, just long lines of cars.  BUT GOD, touched your hearts to pray, to come down and support by volunteering and donating.  We were able to continue our pantry with reduced hours.  Many came out to volunteer in extreme heat, and God gave a miracle of 99 more households with reduced hours- PTL!!!!  Our 5 people are still without employment so please keep praying for them to find work.  About 1/3 of our new volunteers are students who will be returning to school after August, so there is still room for you!  We are looking for immediate volunteers to serve in our Food Pantry. Another unfortunate consequence will be limited opening hours of our food pantry, which will be 10am-12pm, Monday thru Friday.
